It was fantastic to be joined by some many activists, and a big thank you to all of our speakers for making it such a fantastic day.
The day was chaired by co-chairs of the regional health committee Conroy Lawrence and Chris Akaluka (pictured below)
We heard from Helga Pile, National Head of Health and Sara Gorton our Regional Secretary about negotiating and campaigning in the NHS. In the afternoon, Jamie Brown, Regional Health of Health, led a session on casework, and we were also joined by Thompsons the solicitors.
We finished the day with our annual Health Awards, a celebration of the amazing campaigning efforts by our branches. The winners were:
