Marching Together against hatred and division | Join us on 28 March

You will have seen that UNISON alongside the TUC, other unions and over 80 other organisations is supporting ‘March Together’ a national demonstration of hope & unity against the far right in London on Saturday 28 March.

As UNISON’s Greater London Region we celebrate the fact that we are the most diverse of UNISON’s 12 regions and are proud to live in our multi-cultural and diverse capital city.  However, the political climate is changing at pace, we continue to see an increasingly right-wing narrative targeting migrant workers and workers from other under-represented groups with messaging that seeks to spread hatred and division.

As part of the region’s work on tackling the far right, a key priority is being visible in the public fight against the far right and racism. We are committed to ensuring we have a strong presence on 28 March with every branch marching with their members & their branch banner.

We want to march as a UNISON GLR bloc and be visible as a collective on the day.  Sign up below and let us know you will be attending, with your friends/family and colleagues, so we can keep in touch on meeting points for the London delegation and other details.
