This year the Regional Black Members Committee will be hosting an event to celebrate Black History Month.
The theme for the event will be: “The Elephant in the Room.” This presents an important opportunity for the Region to recognise and celebrate Black lives, engage in discussions surrounding the recent riots and unrest, and explore ways to uplift our youth. Additionally, it will provide a platform to address the experiences of racism and discrimination faced in the workplace
The event is open to all members and activists and will feature entertainment and inspirational speakers.
