The Regional LGBT+ Committee invites all London activists, regardless of whether you identify as LGBT+ or not, to their annual LGBT+ Training and Organising Day. The day will cover;
- HIV awareness & the law: negotiating UNISON’s new model policy for supporting workers living with HIV
- Workers’ rights and the Employment Rights Bill: utilising the bill to support LGBT+ workers
- End the Exploitation: supporting LGBT+ migrant workers
Guest speakers to be announced!
Lunch will be provided to attendees and it will be an opportunity to network and meet activists from across the region.
It will also be an opportunity to meet members of the Regional LGBT+ Committee, and find out about their work for the year.
