A week to celebrate NHS support staff, particularly those working in operational services, and a chance for colleagues and the public to find out more about the vital role played by operational services staff.
One Team Week celebrates the porters, cleaners, admin and clerical staff, catering staff and all support workers who work tirelessly in the NHS, often without the recognition they deserve and shows that UNISON campaigns for the whole healthcare team.
UNISON branches can undertake One Team-themed activities during the week. These could include a One Team stall in your workplace, arranging a profile of some operational services staff in your branch newsletter or work bulletin or a cake sale with information about the work UNISON does for the whole health care team.
