Branches are asked to send delegates to the Regional Black Members AGM 2025.
At the AGM, delegates will have the opportunity to elect members of the Regional Black Members Group for the year ahead, and you will also have the opportunity to find out what the current Regional Black Members Group have been doing on your behalf for the past year, and what are some priorities for the year ahead.
If you would like to attend the AGM, please speak to your branch in the first instance.
Branches are able to send a delegation, detailed below:
1 – 1000 members = two delegates
1001 – 3000 members = four delegates
3001 – 5000 members = six delegates
5001 and above = eight delegates
All delegates from the Branch must be Black UNISON members.
In UNISON, Black is used to indicate people with a shared history. Black with a capital ‘B’ is used in its broad political and inclusive sense to describe people in Britain who have suffered colonialism and enslavement in the past and continue to experience racism and diminished opportunities in today’s society.
